Black Mission Figs

The figs are finally getting ripe. I wait all year for this. I love to sit under the tree and eat. I love figs so much that I planted three more trees.

Hi there! Mary Cay gave me the link to your website and I decided to visit your blog while visiting. It sounds like you and your family have a wonderful home in Utah and an ideal setting for your ceramic business.

Hello from Minnesota! So now you have a blog too -- cool! We also have a black mission fig tree: A little one in a pot that can come in for the winter :-) Ok, so you live in a better place for that sort of thing.

We thought about you at the St. Croix sale this year. You have to come here sometime. Until then, best of luck in everything.

Thanks for the note. We try to maintain the "ideal setting" to make art. Sometimes I wonder if there would be better place to make pots or raise a family. The kids love it and are thriving.

How does the black mission fig grow in cold country? Ours does well and the second batch of figs will be ripe in a week or two. Thanks for the encouragment to come to St Croix sale, that's too far to haul pots though.
